Cinderella
Beatrix puts a rock ‘n’ roll spin on the classic tale of Cinderella. She opens the number in a blue cartoon-like ballgown, finished with hundreds of delicate, sparkling rhinestones – a costume that captivates an audience from the very start. The act culminates in a swing and jive inspired dance section, performed in underwear ornately embellished to evoke the atmosphere of Elvis’s 1970s jumpsuits.
During this act, Beatrix pokes fun at object fetishism by revealling she’s more in love with her missing blue suede shoe(s) than the handsome prince(s).
