Hey, Bellboy!

In her finest character piece to date, Beatrix gives the notion of “diva” a good prod in the ribs. Setting the dance moves and diva-esque poise of Beyoncé Knowles against the magic of suitcase mime and the comedic tradition of the inept bellboy, it’s a light-hearted, playful and entirely charismatic striptease. The number uses a soundtrack that solidly fuses the vintage with the contemporary, and with an attitude that’s both baffoon and sex-kitten.
